I was born in the UK and lived in Ascot , Berkshire for the first twenty years of my life.
I was always keen on photography and had dabbled with stop frame animation as soon I got my first 486 computer back in 1996.
Video production started as an Advanced GNVQ in Media Communication and Production in Maidenhead back in 1998 where I achieved a distinction grade.
In 1999 I moved to Wokingham near Reading to become a new media developer for a multinational company, at that time I was mostly working with Macromedia Director version 6.0.
Technology moved on and I began to use more and more video.
Over the years I have drifted towards contract work and, touch wood, have rarely been without a project to work on. Most of my work comes from word of mouth.
A lof expensive London based companies use significant recourses on sponsored links and it will always be costly to be found on the internet by people searching for Video Production or Photographic Production.
I do get work via the web from local companies who specify Wokingham, Winnersh, Bracknell , Reading , Berkshire and Video Production or Photography or corporate video Wokingham.
If you wish to get involved in the editing process then having a local company is important. Your input during the editing can prove invaluable. It's can also be very enjoyable to see at all come together. The biscuits are free.
I qualified as a Master Member of the Institute of Videographers in 2004 which has enabled me to offer piece of mind to my customers.
With a videographer who is a qualified member of the IOV you know your video producer is part of a network of skilled professionals and that you have an arbitrator in the IOV should their work fall below the high standards you should expect.
